Middletown Arts Center summer campers Natalie

They teamed up to raise $850 for the Infinite Love
for Natalie Grace fund, which supports pediatric
cancer research and awareness. Natalie was
diagnosed with leukemia in 2012. The team helped
Natalie to reach the grand total of $150,000 for the
fund, which was her fifth birthday wish.

scholarship recipients, including, from left

received a $1,000 scholarship to support her

Holiday Express Benefit Concert

➜ Holiday Express, founded by 2011 Seeds
of Hope honoree Tim McLoone, is a dedicated troupe of volunteer musicians who
perform more than 50 holiday shows each
year between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
These shows help support the nonprofit’s
year-round mission to bring music, cheer
and hope to thousands of needy people
throughout the metropolitan area. Funds
raised will help the group distribute food,
clothing and presents to children with cancer, those living with AIDS, the mentally
ill and the isolated elderly. The nonprofit
has also distributed more than $500,000 in
scholarships. The concert will include classic tunes such as “White Christmas” and
“You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.”

spent the day with other sports legends at
the 9th annual Joetta Clark Diggs Sports
Extravaganza, which raised $15,000 to
help promote youth fitness and academic
excellence. Joining her were, from left, Deon
