Wayne a. aldredge, dMd • Periodontics
With patient comfort at the core of his practice, periodontal surgeon Dr. Wayne Aldredge uses the newest minimally invasive dental procedures to treat gum disease and place dental implants. A board-certified periodontist and
vice president of the American Academy of Periodontology, Dr. Aldredge works to bring innovative procedures to
patients and to change the perception of periodontics. To further this cause, he opened a Dental Patient Educational
Center next to his office, where he presents the basics of dental implants and periodontal disease in everyday language and answers any questions. These Saturday morning seminars are open to the public. “My goal is to educate
patients to make good decisions about dental treatment,” he says.
Teaming up with referring general dentists to co-manage their most complex cases, Dr. Aldredge thanks his colleagues for nominating him again as a New Jersey Monthly Top Dentist. His initial experience as a general dentist
equipped him to understand the restorative side of dentistry and to work closely with referring dentists.
Dr. Aldredge’s individualized treatment and commitment to patient comfort have earned him the confidence and
trust of patients and dentists alike. “With proper planning and care, I can help patients with gum disease keep their
teeth for a lifetime,” he says.
After graduating from UMDNJ, Dr. Aldredge completed advanced training at Moncrief Army Community Hospital
and specialty training at SUNY Stony Brook. He began practicing at West Point, an experience that prepared him to
handle the most challenging cases. Dr. Aldredge is currently accepting new patients.
