Tina Nguyen, DDS
• Pediatric Dentistry
“I love working with children,” says Dr. Tina Nguyen, who launched her
solo practice in 2008. This board-certified pediatric dentist gives her best
every day to provide the highest level of care for children, adolescents and
patients with special needs. “Every child deserves to have a healthy and
beautiful smile,” she says.
Working closely with parents for individualized and comprehensive
treatment, Dr. Nguyen employs state-of-the-art technologies to keep her
patients comfortable and relaxed. She uses digital X-rays to minimize
radiation and nitrous oxide for anxious patients. Patients who require
general anesthesia for a procedure benefit from Dr. Nguyen’s staff affiliation with Morristown Medical Center, where she also teaches general
dentistry residents. Parents appreciate her gentleness and patience, while
kids love the tablets they get to watch during treatment.
Dr. Nguyen is a graduate of Columbia University College of Dental
Medicine and completed a fellowship in special care dentistry at Albert
Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center, where she gained extensive experience with autistic and special needs patients. “When a special needs child
starts to trust me and his or her behavior improves in the chair, it’s an
incredible milestone,” she says.
