Honored as New Jersey Monthly Top Doctors for nine consecutive
years, Dr. Stephen Ducey and Dr. Frank Femino successfully treat a
wide range of orthopedic issues and sports injuries. Now located in
new state-of-the-art offices in Nutley, these established orthopedic
surgeons have been eliminating pain and restoring an active lifestyle
to their patients for nearly two decades.
Dr. Ducey specializes in sports medicine and performs arthroscopic
procedures on knees, shoulders and hips. He also performs shoul-
der replacement surgery, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruc-
tions, articular cartilage surgery and patellofemoral realignment.
Dr. Femino’s expertise is in hip and knee replacement. As director of
the Joint and Spine Institute at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville,
he has completed thousands of total hip and knee replacement surger-
ies using minimally invasive techniques. He also routinely performs
partial knee replacements as an outpatient procedure.
For these fellowship-trained doctors, conservative treatment comes
first. They apply the latest nonsurgical methods, including platelet-rich
plasma (PRP) injections, and offer cutting-edge foot and ankle
treatment with Dr. Seth Queler. Says Dr. Femino, “Minimally invasive
techniques and specialized postoperative management lead to a
speedy recovery and a positive patient experience.”
