As a board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Marta Lopatynsky gets great
satisfaction in improving her patients’ vision and engaging them in
healthy, long-term eye care. She and her team, which includes ophthalmologist Dr. Jayati Sarkar and optometrist Dr. John Barbato, work
together to educate patients about their condition and their risk of
ocular diseases. Her group also coordinates care with other physicians
to improve patients’ outcomes. Specializing in laser vision correction,
advanced cataract surgery and cornea surgery, Dr. Lopatynsky has
received continuing education and certification in state-of-the-art
treatments, such as laser-assisted cataract surgery and intraocular
implants that reduce astigmatism or decrease the need for reading
glasses. She also provides comprehensive eye exams, treatment for
glaucoma and Botox® treatments.

position on the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Practicing
Ophthalmologists Advisory Committee for Education, where she
rewrote study texts used for board certification.
