Referrals may be the highest compliment any doctor can receive, even more so when acute and complicated cases are involved. Dr. Denehy and
Dr. Taylor, both board-certified gynecologic oncologists, often receive such cases from physicians and surgeons who refer their technically chal-
lenging, medically compromised and high-risk patients for surgical and medical management of both benign and malignant gynecologic condi-
tions. The doctors pride themselves on their conservative medical and surgical approach, using individualized therapy to address patient needs.
Dr. Denehy and Dr. Taylor are highly experienced in minimally invasive techniques, notably robotic pelvic surgeries performed with small
abdominal incisions, often resulting in a markedly shorter recovery time. They have also championed the resurgence of LeFort colpocleisis, a
minimally invasive approach for the treatment of symptomatic severe pelvic organ prolapse in medically compromised elderly women. For these
and other procedures, the doctors usually work as a team, enabling patients to benefit from more than 48 years of shared surgical expertise.
