CARL GIORDANO, MD, FAAOS
Recognized as one of the leading spine surgeons in the state, Dr. Carl Giordano has helped thousands of patients overcome orthopedic and
neuromuscular spine conditions. Using both surgical and nonsurgical methods, he strives to provide the gold standard of care for every patient.
“For any given condition, there is one single best procedure that will provide the best outcome,” he says. “I see the diagnoses clearly and pro-
vide treatment that ensures optimal results.” His partner is Dr. Richard Nachwalter.
Fellowship trained in spine surgery and double board certified in both orthopedic and spine surgery, Dr. Giordano consistently achieves
excellent outcomes. He treats herniated discs, tumors, spinal deformities, trauma and fractures, and also performs complex revision surgery.
“Through proper care and guidance, a significant majority of our patients heal naturally without surgery,” says Dr. Giordano, who notes that
this requires the oversight of an outstanding multidisciplinary medical team. “Our goal is to provide patients with the highest level of advice
and conservative care using evidence-based medicine and proven techniques.”
Dr. Giordano has been in practice for more than 19 years and currently serves as vice chairman of the Department of Orthopedics at
Morristown Medical Center, where he was formerly chairman of the Spine Section. He says, “I am fortunate to help patients relieve pain,
restore function and be able to live life to its fullest.”
