KENNETH J. KOPACZ, MD, AND CHRISTOPHER M. ZARRO, MD
Dr. Kenneth Kopacz and Dr. Christopher Zarro provide adults and adolescents with care for degenerative conditions of the spine, including
disc disease, cervical and lumbar radiculopathy, deformity and tumors. “We try to get patients back to enjoying their lives,” says Dr. Zarro. “We
want them to have fun with their families and not give up on certain things because of pain.”
The doctors, who work with Dr. Casey K. Lee, spend a lot of time with their patients and get to know them as people. “Being able to talk to
us makes it easier for patients to deal with their spine issues,” says Dr. Zarro.
Dr. Kopacz and Dr. Zarro treat patients with the full spectrum of interventions, including conservative measures such as therapy and medi-
cations, as well as injections and complex revision surgery. They also perform disc replacements and provide minimally invasive fracture care,
and are often asked to participate in clinical trials to perfect new treatments. Both doctors, who are clinical assistant professors of orthopedics
at Rutgers NJ Medical School, travel the country teaching other spine surgeons the latest techniques.
