DHARAM P. MANN, MD
Eight years ago, Dr. Dharam Mann established Garden State Pain & Radiology Center with a single goal: to provide the best, state-of-the-art
treatment for his patients. Today, Dr. Mann is medical director of a thriving group of pain management specialists, radiologists, physiatrists
and nurse practitioners working out of multiple South Jersey offices. His colleagues include Drs. Sunita Mann, Manjula Singh and Suhas
As the only dual-specialty medical practice of this kind in the area, patients are able to have pain issues diagnosed and treated in one loca-
tion. “They benefit from efficient, timely care and advanced imaging technologies that enhance both safety and diagnostic capabilities,”
says Dr. Mann, a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine. Spending ample time with
patients, Dr. Mann assesses the cause of their pain and educates them about treatment options. These include traditional and alternative
modalities, as well as minimally invasive procedures such as spinal cord stimulation and endoscopic discectomies.
Dr. Mann serves as president of the Monmouth and Ocean County chapter of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.
A five-time recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award, he has also been honored with the Compassionate Doctor Award. “The most rewarding
aspect of my job,“ he says, “is when patients smile and thank me for helping them.”
MEDICAL TRAINING: Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, India (MD); Saint Barnabas Medical Center (surgical internship, anes-
thesia residency); Massachusetts General Hospital (fellowship in cardiac anesthesia).
