MARC S. MENKOWITZ, MD, AND STEVE J. PARAGIOUDAKIS, MD, MBA
Board-certified orthopedic surgeons Drs. Marc S. Menkowitz and Steve J. Paragioudakis are fellowship trained in spine surgery and special-
ize in congenital, acute and chronic disorders affecting the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine regions. Although their primary focus is the
spine, they also treat an array of other orthopedic injuries and issues. “The mission of our comprehensive practice is to provide expert care
effectively and compassionately,” says Dr. Paragioudakis. The physicians provide the time and attention necessary to perform a thorough evalu-
ation, ensure the patient’s understanding, and formulate an individualized treatment plan.
As partners at the Center for the Functional Restoration of the Spine, Drs. Menkowitz and Paragioudakis address spinal disorders that vary
from sprains/strains to degenerative disc disease, disc herniations, trauma, sports-related injuries, tumors, infections and scoliosis. They are at
the leading edge of minimally invasive spine surgery and educate patients on the benefits and shortfalls of procedures to provide the most opti-
mal outcome, utilizing the best and least invasive treatment option. Their personalized approach to care is enhanced by a friendly office staff
assisting patients with their needs.
Dr. Paragioudakis is program director of Monmouth Medical Center’s Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program, and Dr. Menkowitz is on
the academic committee. Both are affiliate faculty members of Drexel University.
