MATTHEW ZORNITZER, MD, FAAOS
Patients receive world-class care at the Center for Orthopaedics in West Orange, one of the largest orthopedic practices in Essex County.
Dr. Matthew Zornitzer is part of this experienced group, which provides comprehensive services for hand and upper extremity surgery, trau-
ma care, sports medicine, joint replacement and spine care. Along with colleagues Dr. Ed Decter, Dr. Steve Robbins and Dr. Andrew Hutter,
he utilizes the most current therapies, techniques and technologies.
Board certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship trained in hand and upper extremity surgery and microsurgery, Dr. Zornitzer has also
received the prestigious certificate of added qualifications in hand surgery. He offers subspecialty care for injuries and complex fractures of the
hand, wrist and elbow, and treats nerve compression and tendonitis. His cutting-edge approaches include minimally invasive procedures such
as small joint arthroscopy to treat arthritis and Xiaflex® injections for effective treatment of Dupuytren’s disease. These techniques allow for
improved outcomes with rapid healing time and minimal scarring.
Born and raised in Livingston and in practice since 2005, Dr. Zornitzer feels privileged to care for many people with whom he has had
long-standing relationships. “We center treatment plans around each patient,” he says, giving credit to his outstanding medical assistant and
