Board-certified pediatric cardiologist Dr. Mitchel Alpert is celebrating the 26th anniversary of the practice he founded immediately after completing his N YU fellowship.
The largest pediatric cardiology practice in Monmouth and Ocean counties, it is closely
affiliated with the Meridian Health System. “We’ve grown into a busy group that’s vital to
health care in our region,” Dr. Alpert says. “A generation of pediatricians here relies on our

RICHARD C. ANGRIST, MD, FACS
A board certified ophthalmologist with more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Richard
C. Angrist specializes in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery, eyelid and tear
duct disorders, cosmetic surgery and eyelid tumors/cancers. Selected the last five years by
Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. as one of the top doctors in the New York metropolitan area,

JEFFREY AROESTY, MD, FACS
In practice since 1994, Dr. Jeffrey Aroesty evaluates and treats all aspects of the ear,
nose and throat, including nose and sinus issues, snoring and sleep apnea. He also offers
hearing aid and balance treatments, head and neck surgical procedures, and in-office
audiometric testing. Dr. Aroesty works with nurse practitioner Michele Corrice. “Our
approach is that we treat one patient at a time,” he says. “They come from all walks of
life, from little kids to older adults. We focus on the whole person and treat each patient
respectfully and professionally, combining compassionate care with an innovative
approach in a state-of-the-art facility.”
Dr. Aroesty, who received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center,
is board certified in otolaryngology and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He is also an avid triathlete and supports numerous charities, including Memorial Sloan-
Kettering Cancer Center, the Humane Society, and the Leukemia Research Foundation.
