With the philosophy of treating people, not just eyes, board-certified ophthalmologist Dr. Stephen Gollance brings the most current
concepts, treatments and technological innovations to his growing practice. “I view patient care as a personal experience involving careful
evaluation of an individual’s needs,” he says. “While two sets of eyes may look the same, each patient may need to be treated di;erently.”
Together with his expert team at the Eye Institute, Dr. Gollance provides comprehensive vision care ranging from routine eye exams and
the diagnosis and treatment of eye disorders, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and dry eye, to the most challenging surgical
procedures. A highly trained and experienced eye surgeon, he performs advanced laser vision correction (LASIK and PRK), as well as
state-of-the-art cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses, and laser assisted cataract surgery. The practice also provides
oculoplastic surgery, including Botox® and cosmetic eyelid surgery, and has an on-site optical store for patients’ convenience.
Active in medicine beyond his private practice, Dr. Gollance provides pro bono eye services for Chilton Medical Center, completes
countless hours of continuing education each year and has presented at numerous leading ophthalmology conferences. Also listed in
NJ Top Docs, this second-generation ophthalmologist is honored to be recognized as a New Jersey Monthly Top Doctor by his peers.
