It takes innovative thinking to make dramatic change, and that’s exactly what Drs. Kataneh Maleki, Anthony Passannante, Pratik Patel,
Chirag Shah and Dinesh Singal are doing at the Cardio Metabolic Institute. Leading the way in a new type of care, these physicians are managing the full spectrum of cardiac and metabolic disorders with a heavy emphasis on prevention, wellness and treatment. The results speak
for themselves. “We have some phenomenal success stories,” says Dr. Singal.
The group o;ers traditional cardiac care—noninvasive, invasive, interventional, electrophysiology, and management of varicose veins and
peripheral arterial disease—as well as the latest clinical trials. But the overall goal is to control and manage the underlying risk factors, such
as obesity, blood pressure and diabetes, which lead to cardiovascular disease. The Somerset location has a spacious open floor plan, state-of-the-art gym and a devoted o;ce sta; to help patients feel comfortable and supported. Patients also have access to on-sta; physiologists and nutritionists.
These board-certified cardiologists have additional certifications and specialty training in interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiol-
ogy, echocardiography and electrophysiology. They serve on hospital boards and committees, and also influence research and education.
Dr. Singal says, “We’re setting new standards in preventing the progression of cardiovascular disease and it’s very exciting.”
