“Open conversation with patients is my top priority,” says Dr. Robert Rubino, who has dedicated himself to advancing women’s health
for more than 20 years. “When something is medically amiss, a dialogue helps pinpoint a diagnosis and determine a treatment.”
An eight-time New Jersey Monthly Top Doctor, Dr. Rubino leads an accomplished group of eight physicians in four convenient locations,
sharing a traditional patient-doctor approach within newly renovated o;ces. To further facilitate discussions with patients, Dr. Rubino is
helping develop BioLucid, a new educational video technology. Additionally, his practice recently introduced an interactive online patient
portal for 24-hour access.
This influential ob-gyn is a nationally recognized expert in minimally invasive procedures, including Her Option® cryoablation to stop
heavy menstrual bleeding and MyoSure® to remove uterine fibroids. He recently published a significant study in the international Journal of
Minimally Invasive Gynecology demonstrating that certain fibroids and polyps can be successfully removed in an o;ce setting. Dr. Rubino
also helped develop the new FDA-approved CystoSure® catheter for evaluating patients after pelvic surgery. His group’s robust
urogynecology department o;ers a progressive pelvic floor therapy program to treat incontinence and painful intercourse without
medication or surgery. “I continually reassess traditional techniques, inspired by forward-thinking colleagues,” he says.
Dr. Rubino is active in his community. As president of the Summit Common Council he is currently spearheading the “Summit High Line,”
a one-mile elevated pedestrian park.
