Referrals may be the highest compliment any doctor can receive. Dr. Thad
Denehy and Dr. Robert Taylor, who specialize in surgical and medical management
of benign and malignant gynecologic conditions, are often called upon by
colleagues to handle their technically challenging, medically compromised and
high-risk patients. The two fellowship-trained and board-certified gynecologic
oncologists pride themselves on their conservative medical and surgical approach,
using individualized therapy to address patient needs.
Dr. Denehy and Dr. Taylor are highly experienced in minimally invasive techniques,
notably robotic pelvic surgeries resulting in smaller incisions and quicker recoveries.
They have championed the resurgence of LeFort colpocleisis, a minimally invasive
treatment for symptomatic severe pelvic organ prolapse in medically compromised
elderly women. For these and other procedures, the doctors usually work as a team,
giving patients the benefit of their nearly 50 years of shared surgical expertise. From left: Dr. Thad R. Denehy, Dr. Robert Taylor
