Model for a Day
ordinary people into divas.
;;;; ;;;;; ;; being pampered with
professional beauty services and then
stepping in front of the lights to be the
star of your own photo shoot?
Photographer Monica Hahn of
Somerset County transforms everyday
subjects into glamorous models. She
operates a contemporary studio that
styles and shoots women and men of
all ages for modeling portfolios, commercial catalogs, business head shots,
makeovers and couture-style portraits.
A luxury photo shoot at Hahn’s
studio can include hair styling, makeup
and a wardrobe spree through her collection of shimmering gowns, trendy
accessories and tasteful lingerie. She
shares insider tips for posing and striking relaxed facial expressions and also
o;ers re-touching finishes.
“It’s not so much about being a
supermodel, it’s more about being
yourself at your most unexpected best,”
says Hahn. “My style of photography
is simple and casual, but the images
I;capture are dramatic and beautiful.
My subjects are ordinary people who
simply took the day o; to be pampered.
I don’t believe in over-posing, but
rather drawing out natural expressions
and capturing them on camera.”

after images by Monica Hahn, read
